Hibiscus Hospice 2010 Country Home and Garden Tour
Our 2010 tour showcases ten of the finest country homes and gardens in the Waitoki and Wainui areas.
Ten magnificently presented homes in the Wainui / Waitoki area will be opened to the public on Sunday March 28th as part of the sixth annual Hibiscus Hospice Country Home and Garden Tour.
Each of these gardens is unique, ranging from formal English design to colourful ramblers and through to grand park like grounds.
The homes are just as varied, ranging from a quaint country cottage to a modern luxury estate - and the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery is an additional highlight with its impressive golden Buddha and magnificent views over Wainui.
This year's tour is especially significant. Our In Patient Unit has been admitting patients since September, but there is a projected shortfall between the running costs and the confirmed funding from the Waitemata District Health Board - so this makes our fundraising projects like the Home and Garden Tour all the more essential.
